WAKA is equipped for soldering with eutectic (leaded) solder. While many companies have shifted to lead-free solder for environmental compliance, we deliberately maintain a dedicated eutectic solder production line.
 
The reason is reliability. For mission-critical applications such as space systems, eutectic solder is still required, and WAKA continues to support this demand.
 
Preventing cross-contamination with lead-free solder is essential. We strictly separate the production floors for each process and implement comprehensive controls, including workplace monitoring, special health examinations, and ventilation management. This ensures consistent quality and a safe production environment at WAKA.
 
Our main targets are coaxial connectors and cable assemblies, but specialized soldering is performed by our highly skilled technicians certified by the Japan Welding Technology Institute, enabling us to deliver space-grade soldering quality for other products as well.
